Signicat fuels growth ambitions with management team appointments

Signicat, the Trusted Digital Identity™ company, today announces four new appointments to the management team. Following a year of significant growth for the company, these appointments will be instrumental in driving Signicat’s next phase of expansion.

The appointments announced are:

  • Joakim Harging joins as Chief of Nordic Enterprise
  • Michael Haldbo is the new Chief Financial Officer
  • Bianca Austin joins as Chief People Officer
  • Stein-Olav Davidsen is the new Chief of SMB and Online Channels

Prior to joining Signicat, Joakim Harging was CEO of Netnordic Communication and Radpoint where he led the business through several acquisitions and maintained a strong track record of generating growth and profitability. Joakim will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new growth opportunities for Signicat, as well as devising and implementing expansion plans for the company across the Nordic region.

Formerly Financial Director of Card Services at Nets and Chief Financial Officer at Unwire, Michael Haldbo brings with him more than two decades of technology and payment experience, including responsibility for key strategic decisions underpinning increased profitability. At Signicat, Michael will be responsible for developing an effective business plan to further the company’s growth.

Bianca Austin joins Signicat as Chief People Officer with 14 years’ experience in talent management and HR at both national and international companies including Accenture, Business Sweden and Scandic Hotels. At Signicat, Bianca will be responsible for fostering business agility, maintaining high performance, and maintaining a strong corporate culture built upon Signicat’s values.

To further strengthen the commercial focus in Signicat across European markets, Stein-Olav Davidsen has been appointed as Chief of SMB and Online Channels. Previously the CEO and Founder of Norwegian digital identity specialists Idfy, he will be responsible for market expansion and product development at Signicat. Stein-Olav was recently awarded the prestigious Nordic Capital Talent Award, selected from the 56,000 employees within Nordic Capital's portfolio companies.

These appointments follow Signicat’s acquisition of the Dutch digital identity specialist Connectis in April, creating the strongest Digital Identity Platform in Europe.
