Zevoy helps companies automate receipt and expense management and save up to 80% of the time spent on processing expenses. Zevoy’s all-in-one expense management solution includes Visa Business Cards, a mobile app for cardholders to scan receipts and submit claims, and a web portal that gives access to see overviews and easily manage company expenses and company cards.
Challenge
Zevoy aims to automate expense management processes as far as possible. At the same time, there is a need to maintain high security levels and be compliant with several regulatory requirements.
In Zevoy’s business, identity verification is needed in multiple use cases like customer onboarding and authenticating recurring users when they are logging in to online or mobile services. Identity verification needs to be run smoothly and simply to enable ease of use for the end customers – therefore, commonly used identity proofing methods are needed.
Solution
Zevoy uses Signicat’s robust authentication solution, document-based & facial recognition-based identity proofing, and AML/KYC registry lookup services in the Nordics and the Baltics.
A new client's identity is verified using local identity methods like Finnish Trust Network (e.g., bank authentication), Swedish BankID, MitID, or SmartID. If the new user does not have a suitable identity method in use, identity can also be verified by -document-based identity proofing technology. After ID proofing, Zevoy runs the needed AML/KYC checks by using Signicat’s AML/KYC registry lookups to collect needed background information of the end customer (e.g., ultimate beneficiary owners and other organizational data).
Signicat’s strong customer authentication with eIDs is used when the existing users log in to Zevoy’s online services like the web portal and the mobile app. Zevoy’s online services contain sensitive financial information that needs to be secured with a high-security level, and therefore, strong customer authentication is needed.
